1978 Fender Telecaster Custom
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1978 Fender Telecaster Custom in Mocha.
Aiming to fill a gap in their lineup, Fender introduced the humbucking Telecaster Custom in 1972 alongside their wide-range humbucking pickups. This 1975 model is in excellent condition with minor play wear on the top and sides of the guitar. This Tele is all original but has had its original tuners restored after being swapped for Schallers at one point. Fortunately, the Schallers were installed without doweling and the only remaining sign is a small, unfilled screw hole on the back of the headstock. The pickups on this Custom have a full, powerful tone with plenty of bite from the bridge pickup and a nicely defined neck tone from the wide-range humbucker. the medium C neck profile fits like a glove and is effortless to play with 21 frets. Includes the original hardshell case, hangtag, receipt, and owner's manual.
