2005 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection '60 "G-0"

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 2005 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection '60 "G-0" Plain top.

This is a lovely Gibson, made by Gibson as part of a special run of Les Pauls for Guitar Center, hence the G-0 designation. The plain top really lets the woods (maple, mahogany, and rosewood) do most of the talking (at least until you plug it in). The wood grain is visible and present on the top, but is especially noticeable on the back. This lovingly crafted and cared for Les Paul - with just a dollop of patina on the covers to the Burstbucker pickups - suggests southern rock, smooth at times, gnarly at others. If you're looking to channel Duane and Dickey, this guitar will suit you like eatin' a peach.
