1966 Fender Stratocaster - Olympic White
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Fender Stratocaster with original factory Olympic White finish.
This lovely '66 Stratocaster, finished in Custom Color Olympic White is just in at GPG and we are very excited to offer it for sale.
It has some play-wear on the front & back of the body and the finish has faded into a yellowish color over the years, which gives this Strat such a cool look. It's a great sounding and playing guitar and It's got that perfect medium-sized c-shape neck which had a professional refret! The neck is dated March '66, pots are dated week 18 of '66.
Fenders Olympic White finish has become one of the most iconic of all their Custom Colors. This finish was made most famous by Jimi Hendrix who used a large headstock post CBS Stratocaster in Olympic White, and thus Stratocasters in Olympic White from the years '66 to '68 are now commonly associated with Hendrix.
This lovely Strat is an awesome player and it shows the signs of being well loved and well played. Everything is 100% original including the Fender case.
