1966 Fender Mustang - Dakota Red

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Fender Mustang in Dakota Red.

One of three that just arrived at GPG, this '66 Mustang is all-original and comes with its original hardshell case. The striking Dakota Red finish shows a few signs of wear, but all things considered, it's in very good shape for a mid-'60s instrument. It features a 24" scale and the pickups, control layout, and tremolo system that were unique to the Mustang. Thanks to the shorter scale and those single coils, it is bright and glassy, like a cross between a Strat and Jaguar, but definitely doing its own funky-cool thing.
