1966 Fender Coronado II
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1966 Fender Coronado II.
Fender's lamentably discontinued Coronado's are fantastic guitars, and this is as prime of an example as you may ever find. This red beauty is a joy to play with a rosewood fretboard atop a slim C-Shaped neck and a resounding tone from the hollow maple body. This Fender has two single coil pickups, but a more Gibson-like knob layout with a three-way switch and dedicated volume and tone controls for each pickup. The trapeze-style tailpiece is a nice touch (and can serve to spice up your bends in a pinch), and like all of the appointments, is in nearly immaculate condition.
