1965 Gibson Melody Maker

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1965 Gibson Melody Maker.

This is a fun little guitar that's so light (5lbs 5.5oz) it feels at times like it's simply going to fly away. With the simplicity of a single coil pickup and volume and tone pots, it's easy to find a tone you're going to like on this one, dark and smooth to bright and spanky, there's a lot of range in this Gibson. It's in excellent shape, with some light finish checking and fading (that serves to highlight the wood grain), and a nifty double cutaway design. At the end of the day, it's a nice vintage Gibson at a reasonable price point, and we're quite sure you'll feel like Pascal with his red balloon, making melodies all the while.
