Akin to Danelectro's classic short-horn bass, the Danelectro 59DC Short Scale bass is a highly versatile instrument that blends modern appointments with killer vintage looks. Featuring a poplar/masonite body construction, this bass is both resonant and lightweight, coming in at 7lb 2oz. The slim C neck profile is topped with a lush Paufarro fingerboard that is effortless to play along with 21 frets over the bass' 29.76" scale. Tonally, this is a highly versatile instrument with each of the dual lipstick pickups delivering a healthy amount of bass or treble depending on how you set the tone for each pickup. From Precision to Jazz bass tones, this 59DC makes it easy to dial in the tone you need and features individual volume and tone controls per pickup. Includes a gigbag for safe transport.
