1967 Fender Coronado Bass II - Sunburst
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1967 Fender Coronado Bass II in Sunburst.
This bass is in excellent condition and plays very well. All the unaltered electronics work exactly as they should and it is definitely a looker. 1967 was the first year of production for the Coronado. There is still plenty of fret life left. It comes with the original Victoria luggage company case and Hippie strap.
These were built as an upgrade to the Coronado I, but Fender added binding to the F-holes, block inlays, and a second pickup at the bridge position. The Coronado II Bass utilized a Maple body and neck and a Rosewood fingerboard. Production on these basses lasted until 1972, as the entire hollowbody Coronado line was phased out.
