1961 Gibson GA-79RV Amplifier
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1961 Gibson GA-79RV Amplifier.
The GA-79RV was a unique offering from Gibson that was born in the late 1950s, and paired well with the stereo guitars that Gibson was offering at that time.
The GA-79RV offered stereo operation with a left and right channel, or mono operation with two channels - perfect for your Gibson with stereo circuit, or finding out how your favorite effect pedals sound in stereo.
This GA-79RV was modded with a tremolo circuit which sits on the rear chassis and has its own footswitch. This unit could be removed by a qualified technician to bring the amp by to 100% stock condition. The original reverb circuit is functioning well and has its original footswitch. A grounded plug has been added for safety and the logo on the front panel is not original. The tone of these amplifiers are similar to a blackface Vibrolux reverb with dwelling reverb and nice breakup at higher volumes. Comes with an amp cover.
