2003 Collings DH2A Custom

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 2003 Collings DH2A Custom featuring an Adirondack Spruce top, Indian Rosewood back and sides and a modified-V mahogany neck, all nicely framed by the striking herringbone binding.

"The square shouldered 14 fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, we bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos or fiddles."

This guitar is in excellent condition. It has been well cared for these past 20 years or so. It plays as beautifully as it looks. This powerhouse dreadnaught also features a bound neck and headstock, a 1 3/4" nut and an L.R. Baggs Ribbon Pickup installed.
