The M-38 is a rare Martin utilizing the standard 0000 size body M size body and specifications with Brazilian rosewood back and sides, ebony bridge, abalone inlay around the top edge and ablone sound hole ring, 7 ply top binding, 3 ply back binding, white body binding around neck heel, triple bound fingerboard, dot inlay, bound peg head, Martin decal logo, and stained top. 
Martin made this guitar for quite a few years but produced a few with Brazilian Rosewood in the 1980s. This example was collector owned and is in tip top condition with excellent playability and distinct rich tone. Brazilian rosewood is highly sought after for its tone as well as its beauty and this one is no exception to both, it is also protected by international treaties and required CITES certification for international shipping which we are happy to provide.
