1937 Gibson L-00 - Sunburst
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1937 Gibson L-00 in Sunburst.
The L-00 was Gibson's response to a depression-era market looking for more affordable, quality built guitars. This model shows features of the later 1930s including the addition of back binding and 14 frets to the body. This model is in great shape and has had its saddle replaced with a new bone saddle and a partial refret but is otherwise original with the original frets in the guitar's case. The neck profile is a thick V shape that is surprisingly comfortable to get around. Despite its smaller body, this L-00 can wail with a great balance between the treble and bass responses. Comes with the original chipboard case.
