1936 Gibson L-00 - Black
For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1936 Gibson L-00 in Black.
The L-00 was Gibson's response to a depression-era market looking for more affordable, quality built guitars. This model shows features of the mid-1930s including the lack of back binding and 14 frets to the body. This model is in great shape and has had its saddle replaced with a new bone saddle and the tuners were replaced with period correct Klusons but the guitar is otherwise original. The neck profile is a thick V shape that is surprisingly comfortable to get around. Despite its smaller body, this L-00 projects superbly with a great balance between the treble and bass responses. Comes with the original chipboard case.
