1957 Fender Stratocaster

For your consideration, Garrett Park Guitars presents this 1957 Fender Stratocaster.

Just in is this well loved '57 Stratocaster. We all know that '50s Strats are the stuff of legend but this one really proves that the legends are true. It is 100% original with the exception of a period correct tremolo bar (non bakelite tip). When this guitar arrived, the neck pickup's output was low, so we sent it to our friend Lindy Fralin, who was able to *repair* it (not rewind) by removing one tune of wire which exposed the break, enabling it to be resoldered at the grommet and reinstalled with only the pickup grommets solder joints redone. The frets are also well loved and frankly it could use a fret job and we'd be willing to do so for the purchaser and at their discretion. The original case has significant wear but it did its job protecting the guitar. It comes with original paperwork too. It weighs 7 lbs 6.7 ounces and has a slight V'd neck.
